Small town murder mystery with a twist, with Corner Gas humour and Downton Abbey sophistication, it will be a fun summer read
excerpt from my rough draft of the novel
A Proverb says , “you know it is near sunset when short men cast long shadows”
In a town where widening of one of the side road and the corner grocer gets a new vending machine passes as news, Staffville was one of those sleepy towns where milk was still delivered door to door and mail was hand delivered by a mature gentleman in a clean pressed uniform who had a smile for every child and nervous respect for the dogs in the back yard.
Staffville was one those towns that people spoke about in passing as a destination you mentioned on the way to somewhere else. Like every small town, news travels fast and anything interesting is few and far between.
Small town murder mystery with a twist, with Corner Gas humour mixed in, Downton Abbey sophistication, it will be a fun summer read
I will be partnering with a local independent publishing house in Greater Toronto Area to have the books printed once the novel is completed.
